To the Editor o f C r ic k e t . C R I C K E T R E C O R D S . Dear Sir,—The news given by Reuter’s agency of the wonderful and meritorious bowling record of Trott, the Middlesex player, who performed the extraordinary feat of the double “ Hat-trick” in a single innings, has been read by Indian cricketers with great delight and surprise. This praiseworthy bowling record, of course, will remain unbeaten for years to come. It may be of some interest to the public to know that a Parsee cricketer, Mr. Rustim P. Master, established a record by performing two “ Hat-tricks ” for the Farsee Gymkhana in a match on the Poona Gymkhana Ground on the 14th July, 1906; he captured three suc cessive wickets in the first as well as in the second innings of the Poona Gymk hana.
