Cricket 1906

J uly 19, 1906. CRICKET: A WEEKLY RECORD OF THE GAME. 279 innings closed for 368, leaving Notts-an hour and a- half in which to obtain 122. Day and J. Iremonger made 31 for the first wicket in 18 minutes, but three men were out by the time the score had reached 49. Jones, however, practically decided the issue by making 44: out of 67 in 35 minutes, and, after his dismisaal, the few remaining runs were easily obtained, and Notts won twenty minutes before time by five wickets. J. Iremonger’s innings of 52 not out was, in every way, admirable. Score and analysis:— D erbyshire . First innings. Second innings. L. G. Wright, b J.
