Much bright cricket was seen in this trial match last week. In the second innings of the University, Fyffe hit 51 out of 71 in 20 minutes. Raynor batted two hours for his faultless innings of 135, and obtained as many as 110 of his runs by boundary hits. With Curwen he added 101runs for the tenth wicket.
