Australian team, taking five wickets at an average of 35*40 and making 42 runs with a highest score of 18 and an average of seven. In the whole Australian season he made 240 runs in 12 innings, and took 13 wickets at an average of 24. In last season’s Australian cricket he made 172 runs with an average of 24*57 for seven completed innings, and was seventh in Victorian averages and eighteenth in those of all Australia.
