For the first wicket of the Englishmen Lord Brackley and Captain Wynyard put up 129, while the latter and Hayes added 134. Bum four for four. MATCH AGAINST XVIII. OF BARBADOS. ( sixth of the tou r .) Played at Bridgetown on February 4. Drawn. No details have reached us except that Simpson-Hayward took six wickets for 30, and Captain Wynyard four for 29 against the Barbados team. MATCH AGAINST THE WES 1' INDIES. ( seventh of the tou r .) Played at Bridgetown on February 7 and 8. Lord Brackley’s team won by an innings and 17 runs. For the Englishmen Captain Wynyard made 101, C. H. M. Ebden 78, and Simpson- Hayward 67. Simpson-Hayward took three wickets for 22, and Thompson 6 for 37 in the first innings of the West Indies. SECOND MATCH AGAINST BARBADOS. Played on February 10 and 11. Barbados won by 10 wickets.
