Treasurer to the County Club, passed away early on Sunday at his residence, The Highlands, Burgess Hill. The deceased gentleman was a zealous supporter of the Sussex County Club, and will long be re­ membered for his earnest work on behalf of Sussex cricket, in hearty co-operation with the late Mr. Bridger Stent, and Mr. G. W . Ki ng; and also with Mr. H. Cooke, and that most enthusiastic friend to the County Club, Lord Sheffield.
