Cricket 1905

198 CRICKET : A WEEKLY RECORD OE THE GAME. J u n e 15, 1905 TH IRTEEN S— A CUR IOS ITY . We are indebted to Mr. Alfred D. Taylor for the lists which appear below. They show that the three men who are universally acknowledged as the greatest of cricketers, have, up to the present time, played thirteen innings of two hundred in first-class cricket. Thirteen is generally considered an unlucky number, but when a man has scored thirteen innings of two hundred he ought to feel satisfied. But doubtless Fry and Ranjitsinhji will think that they would be even more satisfied with twice thirteen. W . G. GRACE’S 200’ s IN FIRST-CLASS CRICKET (13). 224* England v.
