112 CRICKET: A WEEKLY RECORD OF THE GAME. M a y 4, 1905 OXFORD UNIVERSITY AUTHENTICS. The honorary seoretary of the Oxford University C.C. is Mr. Everard Britten- Holmes who was also the founder of the club. His address is 23, Abingdon Court, Kensington. The telegraphio address is “ Tics, London,” and the telephone number, 2390 Kensington. No pro fessional is engaged to play for the club, ■which also has no ground. The number of members on the club books on January 1st, 1905, was 809, and the total number of matches played since the institution of the club is 503, of which 225 have been won, 203 drawn, and only 75 lost— a record of which the Authentics and their secretary may well be proud. In addition to a series of matches against strong southern clubs the Authentics have a Scottish tour in July, and a Northern and Midlard tour in August. The managers of the matches are Messrs. C. J. de B. Shtringham, R. H. de Montmorency, E. Britten-Holmes, C. D. Fisher, J. E. Tomkiuson, W. L. Green lees, W. 8. Bird, and the Rev. J. A. Arnan-Tait. Mr. Fisher manages the Scottish tour, and Mr. Britten-Holmes the Northern and Midland tours.
