The season just over in Queensland has been of uuusual significance. Two matches with New South Wales and one with Victoria constituted a programme far surpassing in interest any previous record in Queensland. In all ten scores of over a hundred were made in premier ship matches. Two of these were over two hundred, one, the highest, 233 by P. J. Carew, the other, 218 not out, by J.
