Cricket 1902
16 CRICKET : A WEEKLY RECORD OF THE GAME. J an . 30, 1902. work of athletic history and reference. Cricket, of course, has no place in athletics in the strict sense of the word. Only a few lines, and that at the very end of the book, are devoted to the sub ject of throwing the cricket ball. Still, a little more care might have been expended even to make this correct. It grates on one’s feelings to find the old Surrey and Oxford cricketer of the early seventies put down as O. H. Game, and the Lytteltons as Lyttletons, and the tunnel between West Brompton and Waltham Green would take some doing. Still, we can heartily commend Athletics as thoroughly worthy of a place in the library of every athlete. A thletics .— The Isthman Library, W . B. Thomas. W ard, Lock and Co. CRICKET IN IND IA .
