Some extraordinary cricket was played at the Oval last Friday, when avery large crowd assembled to see the Music Hall Artists’ team oppose an Old English team. The celebrated Dan Leno was out in almost every way that was possible before he was induced to retire to the shelter of the pavilion, the umpire, Mr. Herbert Campbell, being quite indifferent to the claims of bowlers and spectators alike.
