Cricket 1899

116 CRICKET : A WEEKLY RECORD OP THE GAME. M a y 11, 1899. induced to brine; out another number, as the book is perfectly edited, and is simply invaluable for purposes of reference. It is published at one shilling, b y George Robertson and Co., of Australia and London. To all who take an interest in cricket I can heartily recommend these annuals. This week I reproduce the score of a match in which Mr. E . M. Grace greatly distinguished himself. He went in first, and carried out his bat for 100 runs, out of a total of 119 (including three extras), nobody else obtaining double figures, besides crediting himself with all the wickets in the second innings of his opponents.
