The twenty-first Annual General Meeting of the Nondescripts was held at the Sports Club, St. James’ Square, on Thursday the 23rd inst., Mr. S. S. Pawling presiding over a larger attendance of members than usual. The hon. sec. presented his report, showing that nineteen matches had been played during the past season, of which five were won, five lost, and nine drawn. H. H. Cobb takes the bat with the excellent average of 48*5 for twelve innings; and LI. Hutchinson secures the ball, with an average of 38 wickets for 16*42. He also takes the silk cap for per forming the “ hat-trick” at Instow. The following officers were elected for season 1898 : Hon Sec., Mr. L. Corke, Hon. Treasurer, Mr. LI. Hutchinson ; managers of matches, Messrs. L. Corke, LI. Hutchinson, H. Wade, E. W. II. Beaton and R. Leigh-Ibbs. These members form the committee, with the ad dition of S. S. Pawling, J. S. Haycraft, E. L. Marsden, C. D. I). McMillin, and 11. A. Hill. It was decided to extend the Tour next year to fourteen days, and to again visit Somerset and Devonshire. RESULTS OF MATCHES.
