On Saturday the 10th the last match in this “ week ” ended in a draw with Sutton, greatly in favour of the visiting team. The home club during the “ week” won three matches, lost two, and one was drawn, as stated. Out of a total of 2,300 runs the club were responsible for 1,151. There were no centuries made for or against, but W. R. Williams, for the club, com piled 86 (against Spencer), H. A . Hooker three scores of over 50. one being against the M.C.C. In the latter match L. V. Cockell made 62. In the bowling department C. G. Welchman again proved that he had lost none of his old form by taking seven wickets in the M.C.C. match for 47 runs. This fixture was won by the home club. B. Batchelor also deserves great praise for his excellent trundling during every day of the “ week.” In the Brixton match he took five wickets for six runs, but for this record W . R. Williams’s five for twenty in the same match would have been deemed quite as worthy of notice. The wickets each day were quite up to former years, and reflect again great credit on Morley, the ground man. FOREST H ILL v. SIDCUP.—Played at Forest Hill on July 6. S idcup . C. D.
