A n o t h e r bowling feat comes from Australia. For Port Darwin against A ll Comers, a bowler took the first three wickets with successiveballs— all bowled. His next over was a maiden. In the following over he took two more wickets with successive balls, again bowled. Then in the fourth over after his first successes, he took two more wickets with the last two balls, and followed this up by taking two more with the first two balls of the succeeding over. His last six wickets cost one run. In last week’s Gossip, there was a reference to another Australian bowler who did the hat trick twice in the same innings.
