So m any were the partnerships of 100 or more but under 200 that to repeat them (for I have given them from week to week) here would take up far too much space. I shall, however, for the sake of ready reference, give those for the first and last wickets, as being of more importance than the rest. The value of such a pei formance by the first two batsmen on a side is obvious at a gla n ce; while a three-figure partnership for the last wicket is so infrequent that its rarity alone should be sufficient to entitle it to honourable mention.
