Gunnery, the well known footballer, Melrose House, Rich mond, who has arranged a splendid list of matches. On Wednesday, August 5th, the tour begins with a two-day match against the Hastings Club and Ground, This is followed by another two-day match against Devonshire Park. On the 10th Ashford is played and Lewes on the 11th. The tour ends on August 12th and 13th with a match against East bourne. In addition to almost all the best local London clubs, Richmond opposes R.I.E.C., R.M.A., North and East Ridings, St. Thomas’s Hospital, Old Westminsters and Merchant Taylors School. MAY. 1. As a rule the club has not far to go for its out matches, and only a few of the chief London clubs are on the card. South West Ham U x b r id g e has no tour and no week. Although the programme is not a long one, the club plays some exceedingly good matches, meeting many of the strong teams in the London district. The honorary secretary and treasurer is C. E. Stevens, Elmleigh, Uxbridge, who, in the absence of any regular captain, selects the teams. In fact, he has selected them every year since 1881, with the exception of 1885, when G. H. Wood helped him as joint secretary. The Club ground bowler is H. Woods. MAY. 9. Uxbridge, v. Most of the matches will be played in the neighbourhood, and, as usual, every club of importance, within a reasonable radius, is on the card. The honorary secretary is Frederic W. Ledger, Ashton House, Worple Road, Epsom, and G. H. Longman, the famous old Cambridge University batsman, is captain.
