Devonshire Park,v.Devonshire Park. The match list for 1895 of the H o n o r Oak. C.C. comprises sixty engagements. The eleven will have plenty of work before them this season; and as they have to meet Surrey Club and Ground, Surrey Colts, Clapton, Leyton, Buckhurst Hill, Red Hill, Thames Ditton, Ilford, and several other strong local clubs, the club will require a good side to represent it in its matches. Of this there is every prospect, as there has been a considerable increase of members, amongst them several who come to us with a very high reputation. The ground is in first-rate con dition, much better than during the last two seasons, owing in a large measure to a change of ground-men, so that the committee antici pate having even better wickets than ever. -Everything indeed points to a most successful season. Mr. George Harrison has been appointed captain in the place of Mr. C. H. Mayo, who retires from the post after five years of good service to the club. K ensington P a r k .— The C lub G rou n d at •Uuintin’s Park, Notting Hill, was opened or practice on Saturday last. A capital list matches has been arranged. Two half way txtures on April 27 and May 4 res- versus St. Mary’s Hospital and ackheath in the order named open the programme. May 11 dates the first whole- day match, versus Bickley Park, at home. Encounters with many old opponents will take place, including: M.C.C., Incogniti, Oxford Authentics, Keble College, Oxford, &c. Tinder the care of Mark Hawksworth, the ground promises to be in its usual fine condition. The T o t t e n h a m Club will have a busy time of it with two matches every Saturday, and in many cases three matches. The exaot programme for the Dutch tour is not yet settled. TOTTENHAM.
