The Secretary of the Midland Railway C.C., Kettering, sends us extracts from the score book of his club, for matches played on Saturday last and the week previously. He thinks the results may be interesting to lovers of the national game. It is not often a match is played with a result like one of these, and much rarer that two are played by the same club on following Saturdays. The winning club has only lost one match this season, and their lowest win was by 47 runs. The first match was played at Kettering, August 21, againt the Loco C. C., whosescoreran : H. Baker, 3; H.
