Graham, who recently resigned after a long record of good work for the club. So far the promise of playing strength is very hope ful, as about twenty-five new members have already been elected. Like Forest-hill the Pallingswick does not tour. It has its week, though, as will be seen from the card, extend ing from July 15 to 20, inclusive. A member of the selected eleven takes charge of the team in each match. Hence there is no need for a specially appointed captain for the season. April 20. April 27. May 4. May 11. ^lay 18. May 18. S t r e a t h a m opens the season on Saturday, at Sutton, and does not finish it till Sept. 7th, when the eleven plays Surbiton at Streatham. The Streatham week usually furnishes attractive cricket, and this year should certainly not be an exception. With the Oxford Authentics, Incogniti, Hampstead, M.C.C. and Ground, Surrey Club and Ground, and Old Malvernians, there should be a good match on each of the six days. The Streatham card, as will be seen, does not include a tour. STREATHAM. May 4. May 11. May 11. May 18. May 18. May 25. May 25. June 1. June 1. June 1. June 3. June 3. June 8. June 8. June 15. T h a m e s D it t o n . —The sixty-second season of the club commenced as usual with a match against the “ Stoics” on Saturday last. The chief fixtures this year are all with Esher, Mitcham, and Surrey Clubs. The match with Esher always creates a deal of local interest, and the partisans of both clubs in variably muster in strong force on the pretty Esher ground, so well looked after by Fred Bowler. Frederick Crowther, who has still charge of the side, was on April 6th the re cipient of a very handsome testimonial, in recognition of his services as captain for up wards of twenty years. The presentation was made by the Rev. E. H. Rogers, presi dent of the club, in the presence of fifty well- Sutton, v. Sutton. Reigate, v. Reigate Hill. Streatham, v. Gryphons. Beckenham, v. He was not only the best bowler of the club but always able to play, which will make his place the more difficult to fill. The dearth of good bowlers has compelled the executive to utilise Woods, who has been with Uxbridge as pro fessional for some ten years. Fortunately he bowled last summer withmuch the same effect as when he first entered the employment of the club, so that he was of great assistance. The new matches for this year are agains Forest Hill, Harrow Blues, and University College Hospital. Neither a week nor a tour comes within the scope of the club’s arrange ments. C. E. Stevens, Elmsleigh, Uxbridge, continues to act as hon. sec. UXBRIDGE. May 11. May 18. May 22. May 25. June 1. June 3. June 8. June 15. June 22. June 29. July 6. July 13. July 17. July 20. July 27.
