The Times, indeed, is well within the mark in describing the feat performed by a cricketer named W . Smyth in a recent Junior Cup match between the Opoho Second Eleven and the Oceana Club as almost unique. The exceptional character of the performance was in the batsman carrying his bat ri^ht through both innings of the Oceana. H6 scored 38 out of 67 in the first, and 31 out of 53 in the second innings.
