On March 4 Mr. Victor Cohen, the manager of the coming Australian team, was enter tained at dinner at the Oxford Hotel, Sydney, by a number of the chief cricketers of New South Wales. In a match at Rush Cutters Bay (N.S.W.) on March 4, W . Camphin carried his bat through the innings for Ivanhoe v. Sydney University. He scored 60 out of 103. On the other side, T. W . Garrett, who will be well re membered in connection with the ear.ier Australian teams, made 56 not out of SO for three wickets. C.
