Rain prevented any play in this m atch, begun at Leicester on Thursday, after luncheon on the second day. As a consequence the game was only half completed, with an advantage of 58 runs to Leicestershire on the one innings played. Their good show was the m ore creditable as they were without their captain, Mr. De Trafford, as well as Tom lin.
