Though there was a very slight difference on the first innings the Charterhouse Eleven had an easy win in this m atch, played at Vincent Square on Friday and Saturday last. The result, their vic tory by 105 runs, was chiefly the result of the excellent batting of the captain and Beers in the second innings, and the effective bowling of Baker. In the m atch Baker took eleven wiokets at a cost of fire runs apiece. C h arterh ou se . First Innings. Second Innings. E. H. Bray, c Shearme, b Fisher ...........................15 c Sherring, b F.
