Cricket 1893

MAY 4, 1893 CRICKETs A WEEKLY RECORD OP THE GAME. 103 YORKSHIRE COLTS v. NOTTS COLTS. Rain interfered to some extent with this trial match finished on Tuesday at Bramall Lane. The game had to be given up before the usual hour on Monday owing to this cause, and though the weather was fine on Tuesday, the interest appeared to have gone. As it was the finish proved very exciting, and the Yorkshire- men only won by eight runs, and within three minutes of time. Waller showed good cricket for Yorkshire, and Mr. Walton batted freely each time. Mr. A. Wilkinson was the chief soorer for Notts. Y orkshire C o lts . First Inning?. S. Kilburn. b S. Hardy . R. H.
