Cricket 1892
APR IL 21, 1892 CKICKET: A WEEKLY EE COED OF THE GAME; 71 ELEVEN OF ENGLAND v. EIGHTEEN OF KINGSTON. The Eighteen made a poor show in this match at Kingston on Monday and Tuesday. H . W. Dickson, who scored well for Bedford shire last year, made 29 in the first innings in free style. In the second Richardson and Mead bowled with such success that only thirteen were got from the bat. Of this num ber J. Davies made seven, and no less than eleven of the team failed to score. The figures of Richardson and Mead were remarkable, those of the former in particular. After closing their second innings, with only two batsmen out, the Eleven won with 159 runs and eight wickets to spare. T he E leven . First Innings.
