Cricket 1892

SEPT. 1, 1892 CRICKET: A WEEKLY EECORD OF THE GAME. 409 BRIXTON WANDERERS TOUR. The Brixton Wanderers’ Devonshire Tour com menced at Exmouth on August 8 and termin ated at Exeter on the 17th. Being favoured with exceptionally fine weather on the whole the tour was most enjoyable, although from a cricket point of view not quite so successful as might have been the case if a more representative team had been got together. The results of the six matches were: Two won, three lost, and one drawn. Messrs. M. H. Whitley aud N. V. Norm in shared the brunt of the bowline', whilst the formei was by far the most successful scorer. BRIXTON WANDERERS v. EXMOUTH.— Played at Exmoath on August 8. B rixton W anderers . A. F.
