W. G. Beech, for Bromley, took seven wickets for 15 runs. THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN 1892. (Continuedfrom last number.) With seven old choices remaining left there is every reason for D u lw ic h C o l leg e to look forward to a successful season. Of last year’s eleven there are left F. D. Browne, who is captain this year, S. Douglas, N. Miller, S. Jordan, J. R. Gillingham, F. Gil lingham, and W. H. Edwards. The first six of these will form a strong batting foundation. Of the new men there are, as batsmen, Ricketts, Fry, Campbell, Ransford, Abbott, and Brooks, who have all shown promising form. As bowlers Jordan, Edwards, andJ. R. Gillingham are left. Of the new lot, the most promising seem to be Collis, Hurlbatt. and Mahon. There are two very fairly good wicket-keepers in Ricketts and Abbott. The weakest point at present is the fielding, which will have to be considerably improved. G. 6. Raikes, who has been in the Eleven since 1888, will have eight other members of last year’s S h rew sbury S chool team to assist him this summer. The first of these, J. Burro’igh, got his colours in lb90; the others,W. Rushton, A. Rauthmell, A. Leggett, E.-Rose, H. Leggett, W. Auden, and R. T. Smith, last season. With nine old choices the prospects seem to be very encouraging. In addition, there is a very promising Colt in Alexander, from Ipswich Grammar School. The professionals are F. Whitelaw and Hingley, both of Notts. DULWICH COLLEGE. May 28—Dulwich, v. St. Paul's School June 1—Dulwich, v. Incogniti June 4—Tonbridge, v. Tonbridge School Jane 9—Dulwich, v.
