During the evening a tilver snuir- box, bearing the following inscription:— Presented to Frederick Gale, Esq., by the Surrey County Cricket Club, at a dinner given to him at Kennington Oval, July 17, 1890, in recognition of a life-long interest iu Surrey cricket, was presented to Mr. Gale.
