The Derbyshire eleven had all the best of their return match w ith Leicestershire, begun at Derby on M onday, and won yesterday with 145 runs to spare. Malthouse played excel­ lent cricket in each innings. In the match he scored 104 for onoe out. The best feature, though, of the match was the bow ling of Mr. Spofforth.
