G r e e n w a y carried his bat through first innings of Calcutta Club v. Mr. Vernon’s English Amateur team at Calcutta on Dec. 27. He scored 130 out of 249. B o se , playing for Calcutta Schools v. St. Paul’s School at Calcutta last month, carried out his bat in the second innings for 30out of 71. C. J. E ady , the Tasmanian Bonnor, whom H. F. Boyle, we believe, is intent on trying in Australia this winter, with a view to test his capabilities for a place in the Australian team, is only nineteen years old, and stands between 6ft. 2in, and 6ft. 4in. in his stocking feet. L. H. M a cleod carried his bat through the innings for Wellington v. Break of Day at Hobart Town on December 7. He scored 57 out of a total of 123. D. C. D avey carried his bat through the second innings of Natal v. Kimberley at Kim berley on Jan. 1. He scored 62 out of 105. Moses joining the Australian team now in course of formation for England. “ F ores ’ S p o r t in g N otes an d S k e t c h e s ” for this month contains an ariicle by Somer ville Gibney on “ Sensational Cricket in America,” and some verses on “ Cricket in America ” by “ Chameleon.” I n a match between the Noiwood and North Adelaide Clubs at Adelaide on Nov. 23, G.
