H e bowls over m edium pace, and w ith a ve ry high d elivery the b all comes very q u ickly from the p itch . H e gets a lot of b reak on from the off, and w hen he gets any assistance from the w icke t is m ost dangerous. Though he has on occasions batted w ell, he h as la tte rly not been successful as a run- getter. In the field , too, he is ra th e r slow . In one respect, though, he can cla im an advantage over the rest of the team . H e heads them a ll, in fact, standing 6 ft. 3 Jin . in h is stockings.
