The premier Club of the Cape Peninsula put a moderate eleven into the field on their own ground on October 12, to oppose the Wynberg Rovers, and only just managed to pull through by 14 mns on the first innings. The Rovers declared their innings at an end on the fall o t the ninth wicket, for what reason, as there was only a quarter of an hour left for play, it is difficult to tell. Frank Hearne was on the ground, but did not take part in the match. W y n b e r g R o v e r s . First Innings. B. Moore, c Dove, b Ford 0 R. McNaughton, run out 1 L. H.
