LANGKAT v. SERDANG. A correspondent in Sumatra has kindly sent us the score of the first match played at Madan Deli between the two districts of Langkat and Serdang. The game was chiefly noteworthy for the good bowling of a Dutch man, Verhulst, who took fifteen wickets in the match for 38 runs. In the first innings he delivered eight overs for 10 runs and six wickets, in the second ten overs and two balls for 28 runs and nine wickets. The Deli Curant , the paper from which our score is taken, gives the introductory notice in Dutch. First Innings. J. MacGillivray, b Ver hulst ............................ R H.
