A P R IL 19, 1888. CRICKET: A WEEKLY RECORD OF THE GAME. 71 EASTBOURNE CLUB. We append herewith list of fixtures of the above Club for the ensuing season, by which it will be seen that an unusually heavy pro­ gramme has been arranged, embracing the usual matches with M.C.C. and Ground, Uppingham Rovers, Richmond, University Wanderers, Rossall Rangers, Bexley, Authen- tics, etc,, etc. A special feature during the coming season will be the visit of the Parsees, but by far the most attractive item in the programme is the week’s cricket arranged to be played on the Saffrons as follows :— Aug. 20, 21—v. I Zingari. Aug. 22, 23—v. Surrey Club and Ground. Aug. 24, 25—v. M.C.C. and Ground. J. C. Brown (of Bedfordshire) has been engaged as Club Professional in place of Arthur Hide, and Hart has been re-engaged. We are requested to draw attention to the alterations in the subscription to the Cricket Club, which are as follows:— Original Members to pay 10/6 per annum. New Members to pay 1 guinea per annum.
