THURSDAY, A PR IL 12 th , 188S. The abstract and brief ehronicle of the time.— Ham let. T h e Parsee cricketers to visit England in the summer are already hard at prac tice at Bombay, in view of the tour which is to commence at Leyton on June 7. J. M. Morenas and S. E. Harvar, who came over in 1886, seem to be the only members of that combination likely to j oin the coming team. The former showed by no means unpromising style as a bats man during the earlier fixtures, particu larly at Lord’s, where he got twenty-eight by very creditable batting. An injury to his hand, though, practically settled his cricket after the Marylebone match, and the Parsees thus lost the help of their best bat. The team, who are practising daily, by the kind permission of the Com mittee, on the Bombay Gymkhana ground, will include the following members, several of whom have acquitted them selves well in matches against the Gym khana of Bombay, Poona, as well as against the strong team which visited Bombay last year from Ceylon :—Messrs. M. E. Pavri, D. P. Dubash, D. S. Mehta, J. M. Morenas, B. D. Gagrat, N. C. Bapasola, J. L. Billimoria, P. D. Kanga, M. D. Kanga, Kaikhoshru Irani, D. C. Pundole, S. H. Harvar and J. M. Divecha.
