Thanks to comparatively fine weather, this annual tour proved as enjoyable as usual, though, had the bowling been a trifle stronger, more matches might have been won. A s it was, of the six played, two were won, one lost, and three left drawn, there being in the latter two innings of over 400, one for, and the other against the club. N. Morice, with 308 for eight innings—twice not out—had the fine average of 51, while C. A . Evors, also twice not out, in nine innings made 375, W. M. O. Wilson making four less in seven innings. H. C. L. Tindall played a fine innings of 119 in the last match, and D. L. A. Jephson at Tunbridge Wells, and C. G. Mallam at Faversham, each took seven wickets in the one innings at a comparatively small cost. The tour was again under the management of W . M. O. W ils o D , to whom the thanks of his fellow tourists are heartily given for the pains he so successfully took for their personal comforts. PERIPATETICS v. TUNBRIDGE WELLS.
