The Leicestershire eleven made amends for their decisive defeat at the hands of W arw ick­ shire in the first m atch of the season in the return, played at Leicester on Thursday last and tw o following days. In a m inority of 73 on the first hands, W arwickshire could never regain their loss, and were beaten by seven wickets. Pougher again was the chief con­ tributor to the success of his C ounty.
