18 CRICKET: A WEEKLY EECOED OF THE GAME. FEB. 23, 1888. are confident that his all-round play on the cricket grounds of the old country will even add to the high reputation he already enjoys. CRICKET IN SOUTH AFRICA. TOURNAMENT AT GRAHAMSTOWN. An old C rick et reader has been kind enough to send us particulars of a very successful tournament recently held in the Cape Colony. Among those who played Messrs. L. Winslow of Sussex, C. H. Yintcent of Charterhouse, O. R. Dunell of Eton and Oxford, H. H. Webster of Yorkshire and West of Scotland, and Rev. A. Porter of Keble College, Oxford, will be well known to English cricketers. The wicket- keeping of the last named for King Williams- town isr eported to have been of the highest order. Our correspondent adds that oricket is flourishing altogether in the Cape Colony. Flo rcat ! PORT E L IZA B ET H v. KING- W IL L I AMS- TOWN. Port Elizabeth won by 170 runs.
