Some heavy scoring was recorded in this, the last of the trial matches at Oxford, finished yesterday. Though the Eleven opened with a big score of 333, the Sixteen, thanks to some fine hitting by Glennie, and useful contri butions by the later batsmen, headed this by 37 runs. At the finish the Eleven were 62 runs on, with five wickets to fall. Rawlin- son’s bowling figures for the Sixteen were the most noteworthy. Mr. Forster again showed very promising all-round cricket.
