Harrop, last Thursday, we made an error which may as well be corrected. The Australians are in reality batting, and not the Englishmen as stated. The pic ture is a chromo-lithograph of large size, and is issued as the “ Jubilee Cricket Picture.” The original is drawn by Mr. J. F. Weedon from sketches by him on the field on the occasion of the great match between England and Australia, begun on the 19th Julv, 1886, at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Portraits of a large number of eminent cricketers of the day are also given. The work is published by Mr. John Harrop, 12, Ossian-road, London, N., and 56, Dantzic-stroet, Manchester.
