The following additions complete our list of curiosities of 1885. Dec. 19.—Melbourne, Sydney University v. Melbourne University. H. J. H. Scott scored 168 not out of former’s total of 352. He went in first wicket down. Dec. 26.—Melbourne, Victoria v. New South Wales. H. J. H. Scott and W. Bruce made 136 for first wicket of Victoria. The total of innings was 471. C U R IO S IT IE S FOR 1886 . Jan. 2.—Melbourne, Fifth Australian Team v. Victoria. H. J. H. Scott and J. Mc llwraith added 200 runs for third wicket in former’s first innings. In first innings of Victoria, A. H. Jarvis, wicket-keeper, had a hand in the fall of six of the ten wickets, stumping four and catching two batsmen. Jan. 9.—Adelaide, Rosemont v. South Adelaide Juniors. Nation took all ten wickets of latter for seventeen runs. Jan. 9.—Melbourne. Junior Fifteen against Twelve of Port Melbourne. Parkinson took ten wickets for four runs.
