CITY RAMBLERS SEVENTH TOUR. When starting from Paddington for Dawlish, the members forming the team could hardly (owing to several ‘’ eleventhhour” disappoint ments) have anticipated the decided success they have achieved during the tour, which has been a continuous source of victory and pleasure. Fine weather, lovely scenery, jolly fellows for opponents, and no hitch of any kind in the arrangements for the comfort of those touring, have all tended to make this not less E leasant than previous tours. Where somany ave done so well it is perhaps a little unwise to discriminate. The fact, however, ispalpable, that to E. Mills, the Surrey professional, is due in no small degree the success of the matches, his bowling analysis showing 48 wickets for 229, or a trifle under 5 runs per wicket. To the gentlemen who have so well held open the hand of friendship, and thus contributed to the success of the tour, the Ramblers one and all tender their heartiest thanks and best wishes.
