To beat this total just one hour and thirty-five minutes was left for the Brecon eleven, but they scored the necessary 170 runs in five minutes under the hour-and-a-half. At one time fifty runs were scored in a quarter-of-an-hour. R. Budworth made 91 not out, G. Hiley 46 not out, H. Phillips 21, andW.D.Williams 18. Budworth’s score included an eight, a six and a five, and Hiley’s a six, all of which were run out.
