154 CRICKET: A WEEKLY RECORD OF THE GAME. M A Y 27,1886 T H E P A R S E E C R I C K E T E R S ENG L AND . IN PARSEES v. LORD SHEFFIELD’S XI. The Parsee Cricketera opened their tour with a match against Lord Sheffield’s Eleven, at Sheffield Park, on the two first days of this week. Unfortunately 6ontinuous rain pre vented a commencement till Tuesday morning, and then the ground was so heavy as to rob the game of most of its interest. Lord Sheffield’s Eleven had an advantage of 96 runs on the first innings, and the game was drawn all in their favour. Five of the team bowled, Messrs. Patell (fast under), Framjee (fast round), Bhedwar (underhand fast), Khambatta (left fast), and Morenas. Mr. Khambatta took three wickets for 27, and Mr. Framjee four wickets for 47 runs.
