Blackham ,‘Evans, and Palmer, of the Australian team, assisted the Lausanne Club in this match, played on the form er’s ground on Saturday last. Palmer’s bowling proved of great service, and the Spencer team were all dismissed for 23, R. B. W atts being the chief contributor w ith eight. Palm er took seven in thirty-six balls at a cost of only 10 runs. For Spencer, J. W . Larkin, a youngster who bowls fast round, was very successful, taking seven wickets for 30 runs.
