Messrs. Robertson, Atkinson, Aste,Gripper.and Currie all bowled exceedingly well, but the chief praise is certainly due to Mr. L. Wilson and Mr. W. G. Wyld, the latter of whom, although he only played three innings, scored more runs than an 3 *one else in the Club except Mr. L. Wilson, who3e average of 71.5 for ten innings is a wonderful performance. It will be remembered also that these two batsmen, wrhen playing against Bexley, achieved the unpr cedented feat of scoring 470 runs with out being separated. In the following list of averages the match against Twenty-four of the Villaze with Tate and Turner, in which Captain Inglis scored 107 (ict:red), and Mr. L. Wilson 104 (retired), is not included.
