Cricket 1885

M ** 1 (v*XChi Mr- 17 - i> >UtvU tss..iS-'io ruui, US’., s i. r MAY *8, 1885, CRICKET ; A WEEKLY RECORD OF THE GAME. 151 hopeful. Douglas, who bad the best batting average of 1884, has just passed his examina tion forWoolwioh and will be no longer avail able. On the whole, though, the eleven are likely to be strong. Johnstone and Rand, who were so successful as bowlers in 188 4, are still at Dulwich, so that in this depart ment the team will be very well represented.- Among the likely players coming on is a younger brother of the New South Wales batsman, H. Mose3. Fettes College has several promising bats in A. N. Stewart, C J. N. Fleming, and G. Grindlay. J. B. Craig'e and J. L. Harvey, who gave promise of being good bowlers last year, also bid fair to be of me. As there are several other second team men of 1831 left, Ihere should be no difficulty in filling up vacancies.
