The Derbyshire eleven concluded their season at Bradford yesterday, when York shire defeated them by ten wickets. _ For the tenth successive time this year, in inter county matches, the Derbyshire captain lost the toss, and Yorkshire had the best of the game throughout. Hall played an excellent innings of 54, the highest on the side, for Yorkshire, and Lee and Bates hit freely for their runs. When the fifth Yorkshire wicket fell the total was 192, but Shacklock, who was put on at 178 to bowl for the second time, proved effective, and he took in all five wickets for 47 runs. The chief feature of the Derbyshire batting, too, was the play of Shacklock, and in both innings he showed good cricket. In the match five Derbyshire wickets fell to Peate in the slips, Y o r k sh ir e . First Innings.
