F................. 9,125 (To be continued.) DEVON COUNTY CLUB. The annual meeting of the Devon County Club was held at Exeter on January 4, under the presidency of Mr. Hine-Haycock. Of last year’s matches the club had won two, lost one, and the others were drawn. The list of matches for next season is as under : July 22.—Southampton, Devon v. Hants July 24.—Marlborough, Devon v. Wilts July 80.—Sidmouth, Devon v.-Dorset August 4.—Torquay, Devon v. Somerset August 6 .—Torquay, Devon v. Wilts August 25.—Taunton, Devon v. Somerset Matches with I Zingiri, M.G.C., and the Colts will also probably be arranged. It was resolved that three members be appointed to form a selection committee— one of whom should be made captain—and that the committee consist of Messrs. P. Harding (North Devon), W. Thornton (Sid­ mouth), W. Warner (Newton Abbott), and the treasurer and secretary as ex-president; Colonel Walrond, M.P., and Lord Clifford, vice-presidents; Mr. Sanders, hon.treasurer, andMr. W. C. Sim, hon. sec. It was resolved that the club should strictly adhere to the rules of county oricket as to the qualification of players. ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS.
